Purpose: impregnating product for wet treatment (cleaning) resistant textile coatings to create protection against strong adhesion of various pollutants to textile fibres, to provide a water repellent effect.

Solution preparation: Stain Protector can be used in the form of a solution with clean water in a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5; osmotic or distilled water is recommended. It is recommended to use water at a temperature of 10-25°C for solution preparation.

Application: before impregnation, ensure that the textile coating is clean. Adjust the pH of the surface to 7 +/- 0.5. Carefully protect surfaces not to be impregnated from small drops of impregnator; The Stain Protector solution is applied to a dry or wet surface at a rate of 50ml to 300ml per 1 square metre and rubbed in with a soft brush or glove to distribute the Stain Protector along the fibre. It is possible to force-dry the coating, but it is recommended to allow natural drying, as the impregnator agent reacts better in moist conditions and the polymerisation process takes 3 to 24 hours.

Prohibitions:

  • Do not apply the impregnator over residual dirt.
  • Do not apply the impregnator over residues of cleaning agents, including residues of conditioners and rinses.
  • Do not apply the impregnator to coatings and products with low resistance to organic solvents (preliminary testing is mandatory).
  • Do not apply Stain Protector impregnator in concentrated form without dilution with water.
  • Do not store ready-to-use Stain Protector solutions.
  • Do not use dirty tools, especially those contaminated with residues of cleaning agents.

Stain Protector Application:

  • The surface or product must be thoroughly cleaned.
  • Adjust the pH level of the surface to 7 +/- 0.5; residual pH is checked by the rinse method using an electronic pH meter.
  • Surfaces not subject to impregnation must be carefully protected from small impregnator droplets.
  • Apply the Stain Protector solution to a dry or slightly damp surface at a rate of 50 ml to 300 ml per 1 square meter and rub it in using a soft brush or glove to distribute the Stain Protector along the fiber.
  • The coating can be dried forcibly (quickly), but it is recommended to allow it to dry naturally (slowly) as the impregnator polymerizes better in a moist environment, and polymerization requires time – from 3 hours to 24 hours.
  • Applying Stain Protector in two layers is permissible after the first layer has dried.
  • Cleaning tools or removing impregnator can be done with Grease Eliminator.

Note:
Excess impregnator can create dark (grease-like) stains on the surface of textile coatings, increase polymerization time, cause fiber clumping, and alter the organoleptic parameters of textile coatings.
The formation of lumps and rubbery clusters in the Stain Protector concentrate is normal and cannot be the basis for complaints.

Warning: The product contains polymer components and water-miscible solvents – avoid contact with rough and/or absorbent surfaces and other surfaces with very low solvent resistance. Take precautions to protect such surfaces during work. Do not use near open flames or heaters! Before use, test the surface for resistance. If it comes into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention. If swallowed, rinse mouth, drink plenty of water, and seek medical attention immediately.

Storage conditions: Store in a tightly closed container in a place inaccessible to children, at a temperature of 5°C to 40°C in a vertical position away from heat sources, open flames, sunlight, and atmospheric precipitation.

Composition: demineralized water, organic solvents, polysiloxanes.
